I don't disagree that COD 4 is awesome...but the best FPS? No. What about Half Life 2. I'm sorry but it is soooo much better...and thats hard for me to say. Dont retaliate to this if uv never played the game, coz Im sorry bt u hav no clue.....kantoosh

Dude. hav u played the whole thing. It beats the game hands down

Also I state now that I change my vote....even though I cant. i do love COD4. The multiplayer beats HL2 hands down. Bt the singleplayer isnt as good...even though its incredible. Does that make sense?

Mark you obviously havnt played HL2 therefor hav no rights in this argument =P play it then maybe we will tok. Bt there is a reason HL2 was voted the best game of all time by like every reviewer. PC game players who choose not to play it are not true gamers =P

Then again... reviewers SLATED shawshank redemption when it first came out but its one of the greatest films of all time in pretty much every film poll ever. reviewers arnt always right. while i agree that its an excellent game in terms of storyline, it just cant be played competitively which is a major down point for me.

actually Robert i have played HL2... i just much prefer COD4...
i really like the modern, realistic touch in COD4 that is quite hard to find anywhere else...

ive played both and preffer cod4. theres just something so... "on your toes" about cod 4. concentration lapse = getting teabagged in tht game.

WOOOOOAH

COD4 multiplayer is better, obviously, its pretty much the best (realistic) competitive game out there (obviously stuff like CSS and TF2 is more made for that, but theyre not the same thing)

BUT
HL2: Deathmatch is friggin awesome
how can you not like a game where your best method to kill people is either to dissolve them with an orb of doom, or knock their head off with a flying toilet seat?
